Cinema Transhumant, is a new itinerant film project, committed and with social action of the TERRA GOLLUT film festival that takes place in the summer in different Pyrenean counties. Alcarràs will be screened three times outdoors in mountain shelters and natural settings with popular dinners. Sis nits d'agost, a film shot in Ripollès about Lluís Maria Xirinacs, will be shown in the same place where the film was shot, in Pla de Pegot d'Ogassa, and where also the same place where it was shot choose to die the activist and philosopher. The success of the TERRA GOLLUT film festival, which has spread in 2021 to twenty-three towns, forty-eight different spaces, 2,300 in-person spectators and 12,500 online spectators, has led to the creation of a project new, making a leap forward by taking cinema to rural locations, outside of the festival celebration in the fall. A project with its own identity that includes traveling sessions from May to September: the TRANSHUMANT CINEMA. Cinema Transhumant we are "carriers of films that are shown from town to town" Inspired by transhumance, the seasonal migration of herds in search of pastures wherever there is one according to the time of year: summer pastures or summer pastures and winter pastures. Transhumance also involved an exchange of cultural knowledge and exchanges between different geographically distant territories. The TRANSHUMANT sessions are mainly held outdoors, they are summer sessions, we move our screen to the fresh air, the films, workshops and parallel activities in different municipalities of the traditional route of Girona and Pyrenees transhumance. To places and groups where cinema does not usually reach.Just as it happened when a herd of cattle arrived in a town after a long journey. The culture that travels and changes the place where it is shown. The main objective is, through the values that cinema brings in a pleasant atmosphere, to be the spark of personal change, because from TERRA GOLLUT we believe that with the individual power of each one, it is possible to change the closest world. The films that will be shown go beyond the catalog of the TERRA GOLLUT film festival, but they all have in common the committed message and the transmission of human and environmental values. There will be a total of 33 sessions in 26 different spaces. The entire program is on the web: https://www.terragollut.com/index.php/ca/programa

TERRA GOLLUT film festival
